Director, Investigations and Compliance
John Freeman joined Lightstone Solutions in 2007. He specializes in due diligence investigations nationally and internationally, background checks for licensing, compliance and pre-employment, and internal investigations.
Mr. Freeman is an experienced businessman who practiced law for 25 years from 1973-1998. His clients included major financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies. His experience includes case supervision, management and preparation, witness interviews, taking deposition testimony, trial work and appellate arguments. He has authored several articles and has lectured to numerous local and national organizations and companies in the areas of commercial litigation, real estate mortgages, foreclosure and creditors’ rights.
Prior to joining Lightstone Solutions, Mr. Freeman spent 10 years in the private business sector concentrating primarily in the areas of real estate investments, business opportunities and financing. He has owned and operated several successful small businesses during this time period.
Mr. Freeman attended the University of Nebraska, receiving his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1973 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1970. He is a member of the State Bars of Nebraska and New Mexico and has been admitted to the following Courts:
