Jefford Englander Jefford L. Englander joined Lightstone Solutions in 2005. Mr. Englander specializes in these professional investigations and services:

Most recently, Mr. Englander was Senior Detective in the Crimes Against Children division of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department. He has nine years experience coordinating and conducting high technology crimes investigations, including undercover activity, evidence gathering, forensic data recovery, electronic crime scene management and preparation for prosecution. Mr. Englander is a founding member of the Phoenix, AZ branch of the FBI Innocent Images On-Line Child Exploitation Task Force, and developed protocols and procedures for a startup computer crimes unit of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

He received a Certificate of Recognition from FBI Director Robert Mueller, III for his investigative work involving the recovery from Mexico of a minor female abducted by an adult male in Florida.

Credentials and Professional Organizations

Mr. Englander has more than 400 hours training in high technology and computer crimes, including extensive training in computer forensics and data recovery from the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and Guidance Software, IACIS, and the National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics (SEARCH). He serves as a student “coach” for the IACIS certification practical. Mr. Englander is a licensed private investigator in Arizona.

In 2003 and 2004, Mr. Englander developed and presented an Electronic Evidence Response Plan for a number of large educational organizations, including: Pima Community College and Amphitheater School District (Tucson); and a Basic Electronic Evidence Response/Electronic Crime Scenes for Law Enforcement for the University of Arizona Police Department, the Marana Police Department, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, the South Tucson Police Department, the Tucson Airport Authority Police Department, and the Pima County Attorney’s office.

In 2004, Mr. Englander was also a guest speaker at the Tucson Chapter of the FBI’s Infraguard, the Tucson Small Business Development Alliance conference, and the Arizona State Conference on Child Internet Safety.

In 1994, Mr. Englander was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Arizona, with a major in political science.
